Tyra Hobson, DMESC Instructional Technology Coordinator, provided Data Security training for the staff. The focus of the session was on updating privacy and security settings in the Chrome browser to enhance data protection. Participants gained valuable insights on how to safeguard their data effectively.

Today, Mr. Weston took on the role of a teacher as he led the faculty in Tier II training at the co-op. Additionally, we went over Tier I and Ethical Guidelines and Prohibitions.

Cindy Hensley, DMESC GT Coordinator, conducted her first meeting with the school GT Coordinators. The participants engaged in a statewide informative session to gain valuable insights and updates. Following this, they actively collaborated to develop plans for the upcoming school year, focusing on the specific needs and goals of the GT students.

DMESC STEM Hub recently harvested a delicious crop of lettuce and cilantro from the hydroponic growing system, Grow Tower. Perkins funding has provided Grow Towers for many Agriculture and Family & Consumer Science departments across the Coop. These alternative growing systems inspire students to practice scientific and entrepreneurship skills through the production and marketing of alternatively grown foods.

Cheryl Green recently met with Early Childhood educators in her new capacity as ABC Assistant Coordinator to discuss updates regarding special education. This annual review meeting covered various topics, including regulations, evaluations, and procedures.
