The DeQueen-Mena Education Service Cooperative (DMESC) ABC Early Childhood Program is currently seeking qualified Paraprofessionals at our Ashdown, Foreman, & Ouachita River locations.
Applicants must successfully pass required background checks. Preferred qualifications include a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or at least 12 hours in relation to Early Childhood, completion of at least 60 college credit hours, or a passing score on the Paraprofessional Assessment. Candidates should demonstrate a genuine interest in working with young children and supporting early childhood development.

On May 19th, the 26 Local Lead Captains of Arkansas met to share areas of concern and to reinforce a precise focus on early childhood. This meeting was held in Plumerville at the Arch Ford Educational Cooperative. DMESC’s. Local Lead Captain Karen Garner attended this informative collaborative meeting. Local Leads of Arkansas will continue to keep early childhood in view, with goals to be implemented to benefit Providers, children, and families of Arkansas.
