Hands-on learning that leads to real-world careers 🔧✨ DMESC recently hosted a BOSS CNC laser training for teachers, led by Will Squires of Caddo Academy. During the session, educators gained hands-on experience using LightBurn software 💻, learned machine setup and safety 🦺, and designed and produced custom laser projects from start to finish . This training empowers teachers to confidently bring CNC laser instruction back to their classrooms 🏫, giving students direct access to industry-grade tools and real-world processes. Why this matters for students 🎯 CNC laser skills prepare students for high-demand careers in: • Advanced Manufacturing 🏭 • Welding & Metal Fabrication 🔩 • Woodworking & Construction Trades 🪵 • Engineering, CAD & Design 📐 • Graphic Design, Sign Making & Marketing 🎨 • Entrepreneurship & Small Business Production 💡 Students develop precision, problem-solving, design thinking, and production skills that mirror modern workplaces and support enrollment, employment, and enlistment pathways 🚀.
