On World Mental Health Day, we would like to send a special message to all our incredible educators from our Educator Wellness conference this summer.
✨ Take a moment to prioritize your well-being amidst the relentless stress and change. Let's engage in the process of self-care and wellness together. Here are some key tips:
💤 Learn healthy habits for sleep, fuel your body with proper nutrition, and engage in regular physical activity.
⚖️ Beat decision fatigue by bringing balance to each day, finding moments of rest and rejuvenation.
🤝 Strengthen relationships and build trust with teammates who share your goal of bringing your best self to the classroom.
📝 Reflect and design intentional actions for improvement, so you can put them to use immediately.
Thank you, teachers, for your dedication and commitment to both your students and yourselves! Remember, student achievement requires your best self! #WorldMentalHeathDay #thinkcoop1st We Serve and Support our Schools so that ALL Students Succeed.

Cheryl Green was chosen by the Arkansas Early Childhood Special Education Unit as one of only 6 coaches to implement the Pyramid Model in Early Childhood in Arkansas. Dierks Preschool was chosen as only one of 6 sites to pilot the program! The Pyramid project works with the National Center for Pyramid Model Innovations and is a three year program designed to build local capacity for social and emotional and behavioral intervention for early childhood students. The first two years will be spent developing practices at the implementation sites where the practices will be observed, taught and analyzed by Coaches and members of the support team from DESE and NCPMI. We are so EXCITED and PROUD of Cheryl and our Dierks site for being chosen!

Kudos to Andria Miller and Shannon Miller for guiding Louise Durham's 1st and 2nd-grade teachers in the crucial task of selecting essential standards through PLC work. Their hard work and dedication make us proud! Next up: Proficiency Scales!#thinkcoop1st #gainingasharedclarity
