🎸Today, DMESC kicked off our 1st Annual Early Childhood Summit, and it was a rockstar success! Kelli Parson and the entire DMESC Early Childhood team are truly rocking it—bringing together passionate educators and leaders.

We started our day with an inspiring keynote from Tonya Williams, Assistant Commissioner of the Office of Early Childhood, who shared her heartfelt vision for raising the quality of early childhood education for every child in Arkansas.

After lunch, we were moved by The Rapping Dad, Derek Clark! His story of resilience and redemption fired us up and encouraged all of us to cultivate drive, focus, and the courage to take action in our roles as educators! 🎸

It’s shaping up to be an exciting week here at DMESC! Stay tuned for more highlights and updates as we continue to celebrate the power of early education. You won’t want to miss what’s next! 🎉

Mr. Benny Weston and Dr. Michael Odom attended the New Superintendent Mentoring Session at the ADE Summit. Mr. Weston will work with Dr. Odom throughout the year to ensure a successful first year as Horatio superintendent.
