DMESC Library Media Specialist Forum met to discuss ALL THINGS LIBRARY, led by Kristie Smith, Foreman High School LMS. This provides a platform for librarians to exchange ideas, seek advice, and gain insights into the evolving role of libraries in the digital age. #thinkcoop1st


DMESC partners with UA Cossatot to provide non-traditional career exploration for students with funding from Arkansas DCTE. Over 55 students participated in exploring non-traditional careers for their gender, including AI'ing cattle, creating mixed color mixtures in Cosmetology, developing lesson plans for education, exploring PLC programming, and wiring electrical circuits.

It was an exciting day in the DMESC Grand Hall as students were showcasing the thrill of cubing and inspiring a new generation of problem solvers. 👏. Students competed in both Team Tournaments and the Solo Divisions to showcase their speed and the atmosphere was electric as competitors scrambled to solve the cubes in record time. Dexterity and determination were on full display as participants executed algorithms with lightning speed, their fingers moving deftly across the colorful cube. The event was a testament to the unique blend of problem-solving, strategy, skill, and mental agility required to conquer the cubes.🏅🏅🏅

🌟 Local Leads Kickoff Meeting a Resounding Success! 🌟
A fantastic turnout of 60 attendees and a special appearance by State Representative DeAnn Vaught marked the success of the Local LEADS Kickoff meeting. The meeting was rich with information on the valuable support Local LEADS will be offering to childcare centers in Polk, Little River, Howard, Sevier, and Montgomery counties, with a strong focus on preparing children from birth to 5 years for Kindergarten.
Karen Garner, the passionate Local LEADS Captain, expressed her eagerness to provide unwavering support and foster collaboration to all childcare centers in the DMESC area. 🍼🧸👶
