Position: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist
Service Areas: Nashville School District, Cossatot River, and Itinerant Services.
Contract: 195 Days

The DMESC Early Childhood Program is seeking a caring, skilled, and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality services to preschool-aged children (ages 3–5). This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact in a supportive, team-oriented environment that values professional growth and meaningful relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for children ages 3–5
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with each child’s IEP
Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy in inclusive early childhood settings
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support communication development
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with program and state requirements
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current Arkansas SLP License
Arkansas Department of Education Certification
CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

The DeQueen-Mena Education Service Cooperative (DMESC) ABC Early Childhood Program is currently seeking qualified Paraprofessionals at our Ashdown location.
Applicants must successfully pass required background checks. Preferred qualifications include a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or at least 12 hours in relation to Early Childhood, completion of at least 60 college credit hours, or a passing score on the Paraprofessional Assessment. Candidates should demonstrate a genuine interest in working with young children and supporting early childhood development.
