DeQueen-Mena Education Service Cooperative

DMESC's Foster Grandparent Program volunteers worked very hard on making blankets for patients for their MLK Service Project in December.  These blankets will be distributed this month for cancer patients receiving chemo, for children in Arkansas Children's Hospital or for newborns and moms at local pregnancy centers. Blankets are donated to at least 8 facilities in Arkansas. The DMESC Foster Grandparent program is led by Director Terry Young and Volunteer Coordinator Ann Frachiseur.
