The Foster Grandparent Program through the De Queen Mena Education Service Cooperative
had the honor of delivering 21 handmade blankets made by the foster grandparents to the Baptist Health and Mercy Hospital Cancer Centers. This is an MLK service day that the foster grandparents participate in each year. They love getting the opportunity to share their talents with others especially during these difficult times.
Pictured are Sandra Trinidad and Nelda Scoggins who are the Volunteer Coordinators for the Foster Grandparent program delivering blankets to Toni Holohan at Baptist Health and Bridgett Prescott with Mercy Hospital.
