Digital Learning Day 2021 Video Contest

Calling all students! Are you passionate about online safety? We are too, and we have just the contest to prove it! This year, in partnership with Team Digital, the Division of Elementary & Secondary Education is pleased to announce our Digital Learning Day 2021 Video Contest.
This year, our theme is Internet Safety, and we’re looking for videos on the following topics:
- Heroes Against Cyberbullying (Online Etiquette)
- Build Your Online Squad (Developing Healthy Virtual Relationships)
- Fake News! What’s real? What’s fake? (Vetting Information Online)
- The Power of Privacy (Privacy Protection - personal privacy, privacy of others)
- Forging Your Internet Shield (Online Dangers - e.g., online predators, sexting)
- Getting Back to IRL (Unplugging - e.g., setting limits)
- Build Your Brand (Establishing An Online Presence)
Contest winners will be announced on Digital Learning Day 2021 (February 25, 2021) and published on our DESE Social Media Awareness Campaign website (SMACtalk for Students). The deadline for submissions is February 8, 2021.
